They have awarded following short films:

 

The Bright Grand Prix:

 

A Letter to a Friend, Ana Prebil, Animated/Experimental, Belgium

 

For well crafted and visually stimulating

storytelling that stands out because it conveys the theme of lonesomeness and longing in a loving and feel good way.

A rear jewel.

 

 

The Dark Grand Prix:

 

The Professional Parent, Erik Jasaň, Social, Slovakia

 

The film is a cohesive whole that, through the effective use of cinematic tools, presents a multi-layered story rooted in the social and financial struggles that the characters are trying to overcome. The directorial approach and performances are of a high standard, strongly supported by cinematography that hides just the right amount to keep us interested. Also particularly noteworthy is the refined production design, which, despite being polished, keeps the film raw.

Street Lights, Romain Dumont Drama/Docu-fiction, France

 

An entertaining docufiction that, beneath its lighthearted surface, reveals universal struggles faced by the everyday person. Through a series situations, the film paints a picture that moves the audience with its charm. The clever use of meta moments further enhances the film’s appeal, adding an extra layer of depth and fun.

 

Prikosymphono, Elena Gazi, Dolan Bailey, Alejandra Diaz, Leonardo Dal Fabbro, Animated/Documentary, Greece

The theme of objectivisation of women in patriarchal society conveyed in a gentle way – through the los and yearning.

 

 

Grapes, Jovana Lazin, Drama, Serbia

For daring one shot film and personal story, showing different generations coping with life and change.

 

Silence, Bianca Rêgo, Documentary, Brazil

The naration and photography work together to create a cohesive experience and portrait the horrors of the victims narrative.

 

Su di Noi, Gennaro Parlato, Drama, Italy

Using cinematography and dream sequences the film pictures the main character getting through family struggles while tangeled in an age-gap romance and the lenghts he would go to finally be free.

Award for animation:

 

Hollow, Szymon Baran, Animated/Magical realism/Character-driven, Poland

Its story was simple, but the way it was represented showed the effort of the movie’s creation, with smooth animation and simplicity.

 

Award for the best graphics and effects:

 

EXO 99, Filip Antić, Gavrilo Kostić, Horror/Experimental, Serbia

The movie had amazing graphics and effects, it was disturbing and disgusting at the same time, and that is what made it so special along with the story and comedy timing.

 

Best superhero movie:

 

Street Lights, Romain Dumont Drama/Docu-fiction, France

In short this amazing movie was filmed creatively, comically and effectively.  Now we know that superheroes are real.

 

Award for best drama:

 

Su di Noi, Gennaro Parlato, Drama, Italy

The movie represents different aspects of grieving, faith and love.
