The volunteering project of DZMP – Youth & Media Engagement – offers young people the possibility to develop their skills and knowledge in socially engaged filmmaking and film pedagogy as well as to contribute to the development of the local community in the Krško area. The project is designed with the understanding that the development of new technologies and of the participatory practices of “social media” has profoundly altered the relation of young people to the world, each other, and communication practices. Youth & Media Engagement volunteering project aims at providing young people with the possibility to reach a wider audience to present their visions of society, culture, politics, everyday life and to claim their right to form the media landscape of our societies.
